Freycinet is inspired by summer trips to Wineglass Bay, in the Freycinet National Park in Tasmania. This colourway captures the blends of blues and turquoise shades of one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. The colours are gently blended together in water to make each skein unique. It's summer in a skein!

This merino yarn is next-to-skin soft, and is tightly spun to give a great texture and springiness to the finished product. It knits up at a lovely plump sock/fingering weight, and is perfect for accessories, scarves, cardis, jumpers... just about anything! (Whilst I have used this yarn successfully to knit a cushy pair of socks, please keep in mind that there is no nylon in this blend. If you're specifically after hard-wearing sock yarn, I highly recommend the BFL Supersock).

Yarn: Pure Merino Sock
Blend: 100% Superwash merino (sourced from South America, non-mulesed)
Weight: 100g
Meterage: Approx 366m/400 yards

Travelknitter yarns are all hand-dyed in East London using only professional-grade acid dyes. The yarns are all carefully rinsed in a gentle wool wash.

I recommend that you treat the yarn kindly by hand-washing in cool water order to keep the colours looking their best.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
