This is a colourway that I created in response to the UK leaving the EU.  The EU flag consists of a blue background with a circle of 12 gold stars; this colourway represents holding on to one star in an act of hope and solidarity.  The main colour is a rich semi-solid blue, and the gold star flash will knit up one or two stitches wide.

A Star for Europe will be strictly limited edition.

Please select your preferred base from the drop down menu.

The second photo shows the colourway on Tanami 4ply.   Thee third photo shows the colourway on Merino Silk 4ply, and the fourth photo is BFL DK.

Travelknitter yarns are all hand-dyed in East London, using only professional-grade acid dyes.

I recommend that you treat the yarn kindly by hand-washing in cool water order to keep the colours looking their best.

i do my best to capture the colours as true to life as possible, but please keep in mind that devices and computer monitors vary and skeins will vary due to the nature of hand dyeing.

Lovely yarn!

Haven't used it yet - my plan is for a hat (maybe Woolly Wormhead's Concentricity?) with some, and the rest for a shawl.

A bright star for Europe

Excellent service, Larissa, thank you. The yarn arrived really quickly and was beautifully packaged with a personal note. Both skeins are gifts for special people and I know they will love them. My only regret is that I didn’t buy any for myself!

Yarn with attitude!

This colourway is simply gorgeous, and I adore that it has political undertones. The work is silken, glossy and I cannot wait to knit it up to wear with European pride.

This yarn is so soft and the blue is the PERFECT shade!
